This digital media project was produced by two members of the research team, housed in the Visual Media Workshop here at the University of Pittsburgh, who have been studying the Bertillon cards found in the Ohio History Connection in Columbus, Ohio. It reacts to the experience of physically handling, reading, digitizing, and interacting with tens of thousands of these cards over a three-year period.
