This multi-scene icon includes depictions of the Crucifixion of Christ, Christ’s Resurrection, and Christ’s Descent into Limbo, alongside depictions of Christ at the Sea of Galilee (or Sea of Tiberias) and the Good Thief. Painted on wood panel, the gilding and the Cyrillic lettering are typical of Russian icons of this period.
