Roman
Single spouted oil lamp. Lamp body is round/circular with spout located directly across from handle. In the middle, where oil is poured into lamp, there is an image portraying two gladiators fighting. On the outside of the image there is a register of floral patterning with an outer oval and an inner oval or line. On the bottom of the lamp there are marks (possible writng in the clay). Spout is blackened from use. Lamp is made from fired clay.
