Musa (station name): swordsman Miyamoto Musashi standing on a rope bridge, strikes at a giant bat. No. 48 (should be 67) in the series Sixty-nine Stations of the Kisokaidô Road (Kisokaidô rokujûkyû tsugi no uchi) The Musa station exists in two versions. This one is probably the later: the print shows less details, lacking distant hill and ink gradations and variations in the color degradations than the 1852 version.
