DescriptionThis fifteenth century Blue and White Crackle Glaze Vase with an unglazed brown band is exemplary of its period. The design on the body of this splendid piece delineates the opposing passage of two servants upon a bridge over a moat which surrounds a palace. A carved seal of Emperor Cheng Hua (1465-1487) is visible underfoot.
