After Annibale Carracci and Francesco Albani, Everlasting Father, 1604-5
Bearing the inscription “Taddeo Zucchari” in later hand.
This drawing is a copy of Annibale Carracci and Francesco Albani’s Everlasting Father (1604-1605). The original work is a fresco that once decorated the church of San Giacomo degli Spagnoli in Rome. Although an inscription indicates that this drawing could have been created by Taddeo Zuccaro, this is not possible as he died in 1566 before the original fresco was completed.
