These three panels, which are part of an entire series of six, are inspired by astrology as it relates to nature and primitive myths and legends. Each panel contains a representation of a sign from the zodiac, from Cancer's summer June bride, to Libra and Scorpio's harvest of riches during the months of October and November. The months represented here are autumn's Virgo, spring's Gemini and summer's Cancer. This series was exhibited in its entirety at the Arts and Crafts Center of Pittsburgh in May 1964.
